More Mexican than the chain places for about the same cost. The breakfasts are a deal. And delicious.

Absolutely love coming to Pineda Tacos! Fresh and flavorful food! There's so many options to fit all taste buds. The tacos are exceptional -- particularly the special cuts (like tripe) but they don't always have them, so be sure to ask at the counter if they're available. The Cuban sandwich is hefty and large enough to share! I especially love the Alambre -- a large platter of meats (bacon, shrimp, chicken) with pineapple and rice with a side of tortillas. The quesadilla is also exceptional -- just pick your meat and voila! Honestly, everything is delicious! The service at the counter is always friendly and greeted with a smile. There is usually ample seating inside.

Authentic Mexican food which is delicious and comes with very fast service! This time I tried the two taco combo with rice, beans, tortilla chips and a drink. The steak with onions and barbacoa tacos were excellent as were the variety of salsas to top them.

Pineda is such a hidden gem in Plymouth. Their main location is in Minneapolis off Lake Street, but this is by far my favorite place to get tacos. I've been a frequent here for years and I keep coming back. I prefer this location because parking is a breeze. There is a huge lot and it's way less congested. Service is always prompt and professional. My favorites are the Al Pastor (BBQ pork), Carne Asada (chopper steak), Shredded pork, Pork in Green Sauce, and Barbacoa. I've had their chicken options but found them to be a little bland and dry. The rice and beans are pretty tasty. Nothing too spectacular but it makes the meal whole. They have a few different salsas to try from and they're made fresh in house! They're open 7 days a week 10am-10pm so anytime is a good time for tacos!

No frills Mexican food. They have a variety of combo meals, all of which seem to come with chips and a beverage. Lots of options for meat and salsa. I went with a very simple 3 taco meal, with Chipotle chicken. It was yummy, but the sauce was very messy. Also tried a medium red salsa, green avocado salsa, and mild with the chips. The green avocado was my favorite with just a slight kick. Was also very fast at lunch time.

I love Pineda tacos! The variety means there's something for everyone, and I appreciate the option to customize whatever you want. I absolutely love the little condiment bar and salsa bar that they have in the restaurant so you can add whatever you want to your dish! Service is so fast and the quality of the food is so good, and every time we come in, it's such a fun place to be!! there's always a place to sit and more than enough seating! Highly recommend this place!!

I saw the sign on the window for mex American Burgers and decided to give it a try. They also have tacos, chimichangas and fajitas. The burger was a huge portion and topped with cheese, jalapeños and guacamole they also have a nice salsa bar, with a variety of spice levels. The place was pretty quiet, not crammed at all. food didn't take too long to come out. I'd go again.

Good clean restaurant with no frills Mexican fare. We shared a big burrito with Barbados and steak with onions and it was warm, tasty and enough food before heading to the movie across the street. Bonus points for the sauce bar with a few different kinds of salsa. The cashier was friendly and helpful and helping us choose.
